Seniors Expo

Maybe not quite an announcement because the event has passed, but over the weekend I did attend a Seniors Expo with my rehab client in North Brampton. Too bad he didn't give me more heads-up so I could've sent out an alert.

Anyway, it was grander than I expected. Lots of vendors, covering just about everything seniors related. Adaptive home renovations, safe home planning, will and funeral preparation, financial planning, dentures and teeth health, physio exercises, neighborhood watch, and so on.

Back in day, it was easy to dismiss such events as, 'Not for me. That's old people stuff.' Now, with age creeping up on me, it's like, 'HHmmnn! Tell me more!'

There were also lots of PSW providers. I had side-chats with a few of them and I shared information about this blog/newsletter. We agreed to follow-up. I am very much looking forward to sitting down with them and featuring them and their companies in an 'In the Spotlight' interview.
